Good Monday morning!
This Week’s Challenge: Sip Nettle Tea for Spring Allergies
Spring is notorious for allergies, so I challenge you to sip nettle tea daily this week!
One preliminary study found nettle reduced sneezing and itching in people with hay fever. Another study reported that 57% of participants found nettles effective for allergies, with 48% stating it worked better than previous allergy medications. Researchers suggest nettle may lower histamine production.
Brew nettle tea each morning and drink mindfully everyday until the following Monday.

You can take nettle as an infusion(tea) or a tincture. 1-3 tsp dried nettle in 1 cup of boiling water. Steep for 10-15 minutes. 3 times daily. As a tincture 2-5 ml 3 x daily. Longer infusions pull out more minerals but don’t necessarily improve histamine blocking. The best allergy remedy is 2-4 cups daily for consistent exposure to histamine blocking.
What is the influence of dossage, infusion time and temperature on the effect?
