Thank you for this very informative article! I am especially fond of Dragon Pearl tea, but have yet to try many of the others you mentioned, Totally agree about supermarket tea.
Great information and now I know that we bought the wrong Jasmine tea. My husband was looking for jasmine tea recently, of which all the labels were Jasmine Green tea, and we did not know that jasmine tea was actually a green tea. We were just looking for Jasmine tea. 🙄 But will look for the Jasmine Pearl next time.
How did you know that I was searching for green tea today? My husband drinks green, but I prefer black. I make my chai blend, which I steep black tea in and add mushroom, ashwaganda, tumeric, ginger and cinnamon. It is quite a cocktail! I am thinking about trying the Hojich tea. Thank you for the detailed post.

I'm not a fan of green tea. I don't think I'll ever be. But your write-ups are excellent and interesting/fun to read.
Thank you.

It seems I have been doing many things wrong 🙄 thanks for all those tips!
Thank you so much!
My favorite is pu-erh❤️ I found it to be an excellent substitute for coffee.
No where close in taste but has the earthiness most closely to coffee earthiness. Yum!!!
That’s a great substitute for coffee.

Oh that’s an interesting chai blend. Hojicha is another favorite!
So many more options when you move away from supermarket tea. It’s another world of tea!
