A Preview of The Year Ahead with a Special Opportunity for You
Early Member Special for the first 100 people!
It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since I re-launched my newsletter as Steeped Stories. I chose January 7, 2024—my mother’s birthday—as a special date to begin this journey. Since then, Steeped Stories has reached readers across 49 U.S. states and 64 countries.
To all of you who have supported this endeavor by subscribing, becoming paid subscribers, and engaging with my offerings—thank you. Your presence here means the world to me.
The continued interest and growth have been tremendous as more people consider taking charge of their health. I believe nothing is more important than your health and the health of your loved ones.
I’m excited to reveal what you can expect this year. I will continue writing on health and natural wellness with a focus on lifestyle, tea, medicinal herbs, and the healing power of nature.
For thousands of years, until the last 200 years, plants provided the sole source of medicines. There is so much to learn about natural healing; it is a valid choice instead of or in conjunction with allopathic medicine (my original training), especially in disease prevention.
Topics and recipes to look forward to include:
Adaptogens and Ayurvedic medicine
Teas, tinctures and decoctions
Herbal medicine and nature for health
Customized tea blends for specific health conditions
Herbal teas for mental health
The phytochemistry of teas and herbs
Potency, dosage, and safe incorporation of herbal remedies into daily routines
Health benefits and risks of specific herbs
Potential interactions between herbal supplements and prescription medications
Natural painkillers and digestive teas
The science behind nature healing
Our intelligent heart and cellular heart memory
Immune support
And much more!

"I supported your work because you care, not only about teas, but about people. You obviously put a great deal of work and research into the information that you deliver to us. I have grown to love teas more and expand those that I try through your educational articles. You are more than worth the subscription price!"

The World of Health is Changing
I’m witnessing a powerful shift: more people are rejecting heavy pharmaceuticals and processed foods, recognizing the harm they can cause. As a mother and former critical care and ER nurse, I chose to step away from this system years ago, guiding my family toward a healthier, more natural path. While medicine certainly has its place in saving lives and is appropriate in certain circumstances, I’ve seen firsthand how poor lifestyle choices, the overuse of synthetic pharmaceuticals, and a flawed food system contribute to chronic illness.
Now, as a lifelong learner passionate about maintaining health and preventing disease, I combine my expertise as a nurse, award-winning tea specialist, and writer to empower others to take charge of their health. Through my newsletter, I share practical insights on tea, medicinal herbs, and nature’s healing, encompassing the four pillars of wellness—physical, emotional, spiritual, and social—to help you live a healthy, vibrant and balanced life.
I hope you take advantage of this generous offer. Subscribe today and start your journey toward lasting well-being!
Drink tea and be well ♡,
Mary Ann
I have been a member for a while, but am JUST learning how to access Substack. I wonder if there is a way to get an e-mail notifying me of a new post. Yours is the only Substack account I have at this time and slowly hope to delve in and not miss good content. Hoping to learn how to listen to Substack down the road. Sounds like it is an option also
